K-DRAMA NEWS - Feb 2026

By Sharon Stern

Some romance and lots of revenge, thriller and crime going on in dramaland this month.  There’s a drama that just started in Korea and I am waiting, waiting to see a streaming service pick it up - it looks really good!  There are two dramas starting at the end of the month that haven’t announced a US streaming service yet, but I’m pretty certain that they will, so we will cover those after they are announced.

Love.exe (also called the 4th Love Revolution) – 제4차 사랑혁명

Roku Channel – Starring: Kim Yo-han, Hwang Bo-reum-byeol

Genre: Rom-com

This drama came out in November, but wasn’t streaming in the US until now.  It is now available for free (with ads) on the Roku Channel.

Kang Min-hak (Kim Yo-han) is a model and influencer who boasts over a million followers and is also a university student in modeling.  Ju Yeon-san (Hwang Bo-reum-byeol) is a computer engineering student who can solve programming problems, but can’t interact with people very effectively.  She thinks every issue has a logical resolution.  They, of course, meet, because the university wants both departments to work together.  Ju Hyeon-san makes a clueless mistake that is posted online and she becomes the laughing stock of the university and beyond.  King Min-hak steps in to try to save her.

KBS Drama Special: Love Track – 드라마 스페셜

Kocowa – Starring: Lee Dong-hwi, Ong Seong-wu, Han Ji-hyun, Kim Ah-young, Gong Min-jeong, Kim Yoon-hye, Kim Sun-young, Lee Joon, Bae Yoon-kyung, Kim Hyang-gi, Kang Han-na

Genre: Romance of many kinds

Every year, KBS puts out a series of single-episode dramas called KBS Drama Special.  Some of them have been gripping, excellent pieces and they usually feature top actors.  The 2025 series is called Love Track.  Ten separate stories about love, including a customer and a chef, a zookeeper on the brink of divorce who is running from a wolf, two students who fall in love from very opposite worlds, a novelist and a musician with long-lost feelings.  Not every piece is always exceptional, but if you have never seen KBS Drama Specials, they are very worth seeing and I’m sure the 2025 selection is no exception.

By the way, Kocowa offers KBS Drama Specials from years back to 2020.

The twins grow up in very different circumstances, living different lives – one as a spoiled heiress and the other as laborer, hoping to open a restaurant.  When the twin living with her mother discovers the truth, she takes on the sister’s identity to enact revenge.  Meanwhile, the other twin takes on a different person’s identity so that she can live the life that she wants.  Both sisters become mixed up with brothers.  Yoon Sun-woo plays a lawyer and Park Geon-il, who portrays his brother and is the head chef at the restaurant of the hotel owned by the chaebol family.
